Hotel Crush: Inn at Christmas Place

Continuing with on the theme of “OH MY GOODNESS IT’S CHRISTMAS”, this month’s Hotel Crush is the perfectly themed Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN. This inn has to be one of the happiest hotels I’ve seen yet. Their slogan, “Celebrating the Christmas spirit everyday of the year” is on point. Looking through their images and website it really personifies the type of inclusive holiday that Christmas has become. But really, look at this place – it’s just freaking pretty! Plus there are about a million and a half twinkly lights here which is all I really need for it to be Christmas!

This hotel may be themed around a holiday in the winter, but it doesn’t mean they’ve neglected any amenities you’d normally find! Their outside pool features a 95-foot figure 8 water slide and nearby are some beautiful gardens. There’s also an indoor pool with a hot tub, in case you want to pretend it’s cold outside. The hotel also has a continental breakfast, game and fitness rooms, and a singing santa (!!!!). They’ve also made a very conscious effort towards using environmental practices which is something that more hotels should totally be working on!

The spectacular Glockenspiel that spans two floors is only made more amazing by a gorgeous Christmas tree and garlands all about the lobby. I’m starting to crush on just the light that lobby gets, too.

Rooms at the inn leave pretty much nothing to be desired. Ranging from regular queen guest rooms to a Two Room Presidential Suite, each room has been beautifully decorated. Nowhere near the kitchy thoughts I had formed when I heard about the Inn at Christmas Place! They call their beds “heavenly” and reading through many of the TripAdvisor reviews, it sounds like they aren’t kidding! I know I wouldn’t mind a stay surrounded by these warm colors, adorable trees, and -hopefully- heavenly pillows. 😉

Nearby is the Incredible Christmas Place, a megastore of Christmas items. They seem a little overstocked on the Elf on a Shelf though, in my humble opinion (that freaking doll is freaking creepy and any more than zero Elves-on-always-moving-Shelves is too many). Other than the creepfest that is the Elf, their store looks pretty awesome. Like hello, stars and Santa’s sleigh on the ceiling? Yes, please.  Now all I need is some spare change – thanks, present-giving time!

On top of all the amenities and good points of the Inn at Christmas Place, who wouldn’t want to visit this magic manor in the winter? This is the kind of inn I’d love to stay at – even if it’s just to play in the snow. Besides, any place that has a phone number as awesome as 888-HOLY-NIGHT is bumped up in my book. :)

Wishing you less Elf on a Shelf and more glockenspiel,

Shantelle
